Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association A trade association set up to promote the adoption of Anaerobic Digestion in the UK, and its members, which is funded by its members. (This organisation replaced the word “biogas” in their name with “bioresources” in the Autumn of 2014.)

WRAP – Anaerobic Digestion Section – Promotes resource efficiency and sustainable waste management, in particular creating stable and efficient markets for recycled materials and products.  WRAP is a not-for-profit company funded by the UK government, and is a registered charity.

Environment Agency – UK government agency that administers Environmental Permitting of Biogas Plants, and enforces compliance with all environmental laws.

SEPA – Scottish equivalent of the UK Environment Agency.

DECC – UK Government, Department of Energy and Climate Change.

REA – Renewable Energy Association – Trade association, which represents British renewable energy producers and promotes the use of renewable energy in the UK.

American Biogas Council Trade Association Promoting the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Industry.

USDA – United States Department of Agriculture, Energy Section.

EPA – The United States Environmental Protection Agency. Sets and enforces compliance with all US environmental laws.
